We work with 3 different types of RECYCLED textiles. Two are used in our different styles of swimsuits and the third is used in our beach shorts.
1. RECYCLED SOLID COLOR TEXTILE : SWIMSUITS
This high quality and durable Italian techno-fabric is made of ECONYL® regenerated Nylon, this technology turns post-consumer plastic waste and discarded ghost nets into a resistant and beautiful textile. Composed of 78% RECYCLED polyamide & 22% elastane lycra extra life . UPF50 sun protection.
2. RECYCLED PRINTED FABRIC: SWIMSUITS
This textile is composed of 81% RECYCLED poliéster & 19% lycra .
100% of the polyester used for this fabric comes from used PET bottles. Each GUAYABERI one piece uses approximately 14 PET bottles , each GUAYABERI two piece set uses approximately 8 PET bottles. UPF50 sun protection.
The printing method used for this textiles uses 0% water and uses water-based colors.
3. RECYCLED PRINTED FABRIC : SHORTS
This textile is composed of 96% recycled polyester and 4% lycra . Each short uses approximately 15 PET bottles in its making. UPF50 sun protection.
